Our Story

Stagwood Homestead is our family beekeeping operation on our property just outside of Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of NSW. It is run by my wife Jenny, myself (Ben) and our 3 kids Kaleb, Mikayla and Savannah, who all pitch in from time to time and help with hive inspections or their favourite part product sampling, testing and approval. 

Beekeeping has been a passion and a hobby for us for some time, supplying honey to family and friends whilst having the bees help step up our veggie garden to the next level. 

After the 19/20 bushfires came sweeping through and our mobile timber milling business coming to a stop due to an injury, we decided we needed a new direction, and the bees were our answer. We are now on our journey to becoming commercial beekeepers and started supplying the local mid north coast area with our much loved pure raw local honey. 

Both Jenny and I are creative people, and it has been a dream of ours to be able to share our creations with others. We have since designed and created a range of products from balms to beeswax wraps and candles utilising each and every product from our hives, so nothing goes to waste.
